= Educación Primaria, Enseñanza Primaria EP - EDUCACIÓN PRIMARIA Following the implementation of the 1990 Spanish education reform law, LOGSE, primary education was renamed Educación Primaria and divided into two ciclos or stages: primer ciclo for 6- to 9-year-olds, and segundo ciclo for 9- to 12-year-olds.
